Connectiv VUX-120 APX20

The Connectiv with the Riegl VUX-120 configuration combines the advantages of accurate data, high density and an excellent ability to penetrate vegetation. It is used in 3D/BIM modeling and vectorization projects for CAD drawings. The advantage of using the Applanix 20 navigation system is the high accuracy of the measurements without post-processing adjustments. In just a few clicks the data is accurate to 10 mm in XYZ allowing high compatibility with other existing data sources and facilitating subsequent processing. With the Applanix 20, this sensor becomes the reference for high-point density corridor mapping applications such as power lines, railway tracks, and pipeline inspection.

This configuration of the Connectiv with the Riegl VUX-120 including the Applanix 20 inertial navigation system, provides a measurement with a relative accuracy of 5 mm and an accuracy of 10 mm in XYZ. This sensor includes up to 32 returns by laser pulse providing a very high point density even under a dense vegetation cover. Its total field of view (FOV) is 100 degrees. The measurement frequency is up to 2 400,000 pts/sec per return.
