Draftsman CAD Technician

Balko Tech is hiring a Draftsman CAD Technician!

As a Draftsman CAD Technician, you will participate by designing and drawing mechanical parts for the development of our various Lidar products.

You will achieve the following functions:

• Model parts, components, assemblies and sub-assemblies of different manufacturing processes.
• Make 3D drawings and 2D drawings from Solidworks.
• Develop drawings from information included in plans and specifications.
• Analyze and evaluate the technical feasibility of projects.
• Actively participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate closely with prototyping teams during the project.
• Research the best components and follow up with the purchasing team for the order of these.
• Manage requests for drawing changes by communicating clearly with local suppliers.
• Contribute to all tasks relevant to the job.

We want you in the team, if:

• You have a DEC in mechanical engineering, with a specialization in design, or a college technique as a CAD draftsman.
• You have 2 to 5 years’ experience in the field of design.
• You are proficient in the use of Solidworks software.
• You are comfortable in a constantly changing environment.
• Your profile is characterized by an ingenious mind and a strong autonomy.
• You are known for your ability to adapt, analyze and solve problems.

Being bilingual in the languages of English and French both orally and in writing is mandatory.
