Quebec, Canada — Balko and ARA Robotics announce the signing of a strategic partnership formalizing the integration and distribution of the Balko solution on the ARA405 aerial platform. This collaboration brings together two Quebec based companies specialized in advanced aerial technologies to deliver a Canadian solution adapted to critical, industrial and defense operations.

As part of this agreement, ARA Robotics becomes an accredited reseller of the Connectiv system on the ARA405 drone. The configuration synchronizes LiDAR, inertial navigation and camera systems within an architecture designed to provide an optimal balance between precision, endurance and operational efficiency during long range and BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) missions.

Developed and manufactured in Quebec, the ARA405 is an NDAA-compliant platform designed to meet the demands of extreme environments requiring reliability, security, and mission-ready endurance. Its advanced communication architecture and extended flight capabilities make it particularly well-suited for surveillance, mapping, infrastructure inspection, and data acquisition missions in complex or remote areas.

Balko’s modular approach promotes strong interoperability between sensors and multiple platforms. This flexibility allows rapid integration of new technologies and adaptation of configurations to evolving operational requirements while optimizing overall onboard system performance.
