Job Description

Balko Technologies is seeking a talented Sales Representative to help elevate the company to new heights. We are looking for a qualified sales professional to promote and sell our cutting-edge lidar solutions. The sales representative needs to have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel in generating new opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade shows, the sales representative must be both personable and professional.

Objectives of this role:

  • Represent the company’s products and services and have a deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our cutting-edge solutions create value for our customers.
  • Achieve monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing strategic sales tactics.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing calls to potential targeted customers & develop new territories in Canada & USA.


  • Utilize our current list of leads and opportunities in Canada and the USA to convert them into sales.
  • Identify new prospects in our targeted market segments, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls and manage the sales cycle to close new business.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis of existing/potential customers to demonstrate the value of our solution by having in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined sales process with potential buyers, often including product demos, presentations, and participation in trade shows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of strategic sales experience with technological products, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, organizational and strategic thinking skills.
  • Smart individual with ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience using CRM software on a daily basis.
  • Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
